We have officially begun community engagement to seek ideas and feedback from stakeholders and the community regarding the proposed redevelopment of the former Woodside homestead and maternity hospital. By gathering feedback from the community, the project team will gain a better understanding of the needs and aspirations that the site could address for its residents, their families, neighbours and the broader community.
We will be seeking feedback on the services that can be offered, community benefits, any concerns the community may have and any other potential opportunities.
The project team is engaging with neighbours, the general community in East Fremantle and surrounding suburbs; as well as representatives of key government, community and business organisations.
If you are interested in being a part of the engagement process, the following will be opportunities for anyone to get involved:
- Focus groups conducted at Woodside House
- Presentation of the final designs and feedback survey
