The CEO of the Hall & Prior Residential Health and Aged Care group, Graeme Prior, has been appointed to the National Aged Care Advisory Council.
The Council was established as part of new governance arrangements arising from the Federal Government’s aged care reforms.

It’s the latest accolade for Mr Prior, who is recognised nationally and internally for his expertise in the aged care sector.
Mr Prior is also the President of the International Federation on Ageing, Chairman of the Australian Alzheimers Research Foundation, and a member of the steering committee for the National Comprehensive Dementia Centre.
Mr Prior has a clear vision for universal access to best practice and care outcomes in the Australian aged care sector. He is passionate about improving the quality of aged care services through education, workforce enablement, and the use of technology to implement evidence-based practice.
He has a strong focus on knowledge creation to ensure better evaluation, planning and delivery of care services.
Mr Prior and Mr Michael Hall established the Hall & Prior Residential Health and Aged Care Group in 1992. It now delivers aged care support to more than 2,000 residents and 1,000 community clients. The organisation employs more than 2,400 staff across 18 residential aged care locations in WA and 13 in NSW.
