Woodside Health & Aged Care Precinct Regeneration
Welcome to the community website for the proposed regeneration of Woodside Health and Aged Care Precinct, East Fremantle.
Located in the leafy suburb of East Fremantle, 18 Dalgety Street is the site of the former Woodside homestead, and later, the Woodside Maternity Hospital.
The proposed project will see the former homestead and maternity hospital repurposed into a world-class health and aged care precinct, whilst revitalising the location for community use and amenity.
The Woodside heritage homestead will be refurbished to its former glory with the ambition of opening the ground floor of the building to allow use by both residents and the broader community, including open space access, community uses, and hospitality uses.
For over 110 years, Woodside has been an important part of the East Fremantle landscape. As the proposed plans to transform and regenerate this historic landmark unfold over the next few years, a new chapter in the life of Woodside is about to begin.
